Professional Experience:

1976: Caffery’s Dance and Gymnastic School opens in Cromwell, CT.
1978: Cafferys relocates to Middletown/Newfield Street and adds a formal Gymnastics program.

Dance studies with; Kenneth Plauss, Choreographer from No, No, Nanette; and studied with various chorographers from The U.S.A Attending National Dance Conventions in New York City and Boston.

Gymnastics studies with; Muriel Grossfield Gym: Milford CT.
Southern Connecticut College ; Olympic Competitor Kurt Thomas.

Tap studies with; New York’s world renowned Tap masters including; Bob Audey, Frank Hachett, Phil Black, Charles Goddertz and Susan Sammuels.

Trained by A.C Cuilla Director/ Choreographer of New York’s Broadway Show ‘Footloose’-Star Search Finalist.

Ballet studies with; Christopher Gibson of The Hartford conservatory
Jo Matos of The Hartford Ballet
Susan Murphy of The New Haven Ballet.

Middletown Public School chorographer for Farm Hill School.
Higganum ,CT : Director of Gymnastic Program for Park and Recreation Department.
Dance and Gymnastics instructions at various nursery and elementary schools throughout Connecticut. Maureen has also extended an open invitation to her school district for all town sports and social groups, non profit organizations (such as the mom’s group), to participate in a session at no cost.

Greatest Accomplishments: “My superior training has given seven former students the knowledge and ability to operate their own successful dance/ gymnastics schools.”
